Herman Miller Burdick Group
We
are very proud to offer the Herman Miller Burdick Group. This will be the
last desk you'll buy. Bruce Burdick designed this extraordinary desking
system around 1979 for Herman Miller. Bruce
Burdick won Life magazine's award in 1981 for best industrial design. Bruce describes his furniture as a "workbench for
executives." It embodies his belief that desks should be designed
with the same dedication to superlative performance as custom golf clubs
or a high-performance sports coupe. Life magazine described it as one of
the first flexible office furniture systems to come to terms with computer
terminals and other electronic office machines. The system is a unique
assemblage of work surfaces, paper handling and storage elements, and
electronic equipment supports, located along a structural armature. It can
be arranged in many different sizes and configurations and can change and
grow to reflect changing work patterns. Best of all, nothing's permanent.
For executives who know that risk-taking and change are prerequisites for
success, Burdick Group furniture keeps up. Components can be repositioned
without disassembling the basic structure. Some items can be rearranged
whenever needed, without tools.

Herman
Miller Kiva Just
in, the Kiva system designed by Eric Chan of the ECCO Design office in New
York City. It is a very simple, adaptable system for companies use in many
ways. The system consists of 2) tables, a tool rail, a rolling file and a
rolling cart. The larger wing table has fold out returns and can be used separately
or with the pebble table as another surface. The wing table can also be
used as a training table or conference table. The pebble table can be used
a small desk or together to make small conference table. Use one room and
convert the furniture to fit you needs. Put the tables together for a
conference, separate for training, use as desks and divide with soft
screens, all in the same room
